These paintings are process-intensive and emerge from patient meditations, slowly weaving gestures and breathing patterns with color. They represent a physical and spiritual locus resulting in a poetic tapestry. Throughout the process, the conscious self is withheld from imposing an intellectual choice of color or form, allowing the hand to follow an intuitive dance much like a musical improvisation.
