WARP

This series is an inquiry into the notion of what is deflected, hidden or deviated. The paintings appear rational and perhaps frozen in motion,  yet show a distortion of what is predictably rectilinear. The interplay with light and shadow adds to the ambiguity of what at first seems right, and addresses the unbalanced condition of unknowingly going astray.
